Department Summary
The Computer Science and Engineering Department is home to 9 Professors, 13 Associate Professors, 11 Assistant Professors and 30 Professional faculty, over 160 Ph.D. students over 2500 master students and over 1500 bachelor students. We offer a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering, M.S. degrees in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and Data Engineering, ABET-accredited undergraduate degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Information Technology, and a new B.S. degree in Cybersecurity. The Department is dedicated to creating a climate in which every faculty and student can be successful. Position Overview
The department of Computer Science and Engineering is seeking to fill an Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor position. Professional faculty teach eight courses a year and have a workload of 80% teaching, 20% service.
We anticipate several openings in the Fall of 2025. As openings arise, we will actively source candidates from this applicant pool.
Minimum Qualifications
An M.S. degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) is required with previous experience in teaching at the college level (or higher).
To be considered for the rank of Associate clinical professor, the candidate should have 5 years in the rank of assistant clinical professor or have equivalent prior relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
For clinical positions a Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.
