Position Overview
The UNT Libraries Administrative Office is responsible for the core administrative functions that ensure the Libraries’ ongoing operations, including purchasing, budget management, personnel administration, and travel processing. This part-time, hourly position will support office staff by completing routine administrative tasks as well as help with projects, as needed.
The main duties of this position include:
• data entry
• running queries
• compiling data and spreadsheets
• time and labor monitoring
• posting positions
• processing check deposits
• budget reconciliation
• serving as backup receptionist
• assisting with student hiring and training within the office
• various other duties and projects, as assigned by staff
Minimum Qualifications
• Prior experience with office or administrative work
• Must be available to work shifts during office hours (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm)
• Must be reliable and work scheduled shifts
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills
• Must be self-starter and be able to work independently
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable
• Strong attention to detail
