The Department of Behavior Analysis (DBA) at the University of North Texas (UNT) is renowned for its pioneering role in the field of behavior analysis. The mission of the DBA is to provide a nationally recognized program of learning opportunities for graduate students, fostering the knowledge and skills that enable graduates to compete successfully and contribute significantly to society. Additionally, the department aims to advance the discipline of behavior analysis through applied and basic research that enhances the understanding of human behavior and leads to demonstrable positive behavior change.
The DBA boasts a distinguished faculty with expertise in theoretical, experimental, and applied behavior analysis. It houses several research labs where students can engage in cutting-edge research and practical training. The department offers a comprehensive range of degree programs, including a B.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis, an M.S. in Behavior Analysis, an M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis, and a Ph.D. in Health Science Research with a concentration in behavior analysis.
Position Overview
The Department of Behavior Analysis is hiring three Part-time Hourly Graders who are needed to help with grading, corresponding with students and other essential tasks as required by adjuncts or faculty for courses.
Minimum Qualifications
Completion of some graduate-level coursework in behavior analysis or a closely related field.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong written communication skills for corresponding with students and faculty.
- Ability to provide grading and instructional support in a higher education setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with online, asynchronous courses.
- Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a related educational role.
- Professional experience in the field of applied behavior analysis is highly desirable.
Job Duties:
- Grading of coursework for adjuncts or faculty.
- Corresponding with students.
- Other essential tasks as required by adjuncts or faculty for courses.
Work Schedule:
Varies based on assignment, but a maximum of 19 hours/week.
