Position Overview
The University of North Texas Health Science Center Department of Pediatrics and Women's Health is seeking to hire a Project Assistant to join our Team in support of "All for Them", a project working in partnership with school districts, healthcare providers, and other community organizations to make sure Texas adolescents and their families in our communities have access to life-saving resources and accurate immunization information.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Employees in this job may be responsible for conducting research on, working on, or having the ability to access critical organizational infrastructure and they must be able to maintain the security and integrity of the infrastructure related to this role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge and skills in using a range of software programs including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively; perform other administrative/clerical tasks.
- Willingness to acquire competence in new techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Health or related field or equivalent combination of education or experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Interest in Women's/Maternal Health.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing processes.

Job Duties
- Assist the Project Coordinator in the implementation of the vaccination program in area school districts.
- Assist the Project Coordinator in coordinating district-/community-wide clinics in Fort Worth and Tarrant County.
- Engage with parents and community in vaccination outreach events.
- Assist with evaluation efforts, report preparation and submission.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor to meet the ongoing needs of the department.

Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm; some weekends.
