The College of Information (COI) is home to the Departments of Information Science, Learning Technologies, and Linguistics, which have the collective mission to generate, integrate, and disseminate knowledge in a learner-centered environment.

Position Overview
The position is primarily responsible for overseeing the daily operations of both domestic and international student recruitment initiatives, industry relations including internship opportunities, alumni and donor relations, and initiatives to support success of current students. The position will work with faculty and staff, other units in the university and external partners to improve marketing for their individual programs and manage the logistics for events.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Higher Education, Psychology, Business, Data Science and four years' of professional related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Ability to adapt to program/project and incorporate creativity and originality
Preferred Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of English language spelling, grammar and punctuation. Exceptionally strong written, verbal, communication and presentation skills. High level of maturity, diplomacy, and strategic planning as well as operational and tactical problem-solving skills. Experience with event planning. Ability and strong willingness to travel and interact with various stakeholders, both individually and in groups at campus as well as at external locations. Ability to create and execute a strategic plan.
Required License/Registration/Certifications
Job Duties:
- Build stronger connections with alumni by tracking alumni data through the Advancements alumni management system, engaging alumni in numerous ways through regular outreach, planning alumni events, inviting alumni to participate in the mentoring program and Industry Insights series events (both in-person and virtual) and always seeking and implementing other activities and new initiatives as ways to engage alumni.
- Build connections with industry and seek ways to bring in more internship and job placement opportunities by working with the Career Center on outreach to industry by participating in relevant employer events, developing new connections and maintaining current connections through planning events and bringing awareness of these opportunities. Engage program directors and other faculty members in these activities, and keep student informed of opportunities.
- Seek ways to grow COI programs in all departments, both undergraduate and graduate, through participating in various recruitment efforts and events by partnering with UNT admissions and UNT DSI on advertising campaigns for internal and external recruiting events, getting strategic recruiting flyers developed, acquiring giveaways, and travel following budget guidelines and seeking other external opportunities for recruiting, both virtual and in person, and following up on leads, interacting with prospective students, and connecting them to the correct sources for information, and arrange informational webinars with UNT International Affairs and international student recruitment partners. Organize pre-arrival Meetings Program for newly admitted students.
- Contribute towards the success of current students through managing initiatives, such as mentoring program, student ambassador program, Students Helping Students campaign, and creating new initiatives to proactively engage current students.
- Build and increase closer connections with past and current donors to the college by working with the Advancements on initiatives to increase engagement and bring increased resources to the college and its departments through active donor engagement.
