The Transportation Services Department supports the UNT community by providing transportation and parking options every day.

Position Overview
This position is the primary customer service position in Parking Services. Responsibilities include assisting customers in person and through various mediums, remaining knowledgeable of parking rules, regulations, and procedures, balancing financial transactions, securing monies, initiating work orders through facilities, and assisting the department with other duties as assigned. The working title for this position is Office Manager, managing the scheduling of both full time and part time employees and directing the workflow of the front office and overseeing customer relations.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree and three years of moderately responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Exceptional customer service skills. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills. Knowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures. Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others. Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats. Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple assignments effectively. Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness. Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships. Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.

Job Duties
- Interprets policies and procedures to faculty, administrators, staff, and students
- Assists an administrator in preparation of reports, and presentation in response to official inquiries
- Provides professional customer service dealing with the public, department personnel, and vendors
- Completes workshops/programs designed to improve/enhance knowledge of assigned duties.
- Work activities are directed toward optimal resource utilization workload (quality of work)
- Work abilities and outcomes are planned to exceed minimum standards (quality of work)
- Uses appropriate discretion in resolving problems, performance issues, and complaints
- Ensures compliance with policies and appropriate statutes
- Demonstrates level of knowledge, efficiency, and effectiveness consistent with position
- Demonstrates honesty, fairness, ethical conduct, and responsibility for actions
Physical Requirements
Communicating with others to exchange information.
Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like.
Lifting and Moving objects up to 20 pounds.
Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
Environmental Hazards
Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.
