Department Summary
The mission of the Division of Student Affairs is to create solutions for a healthier community by fostering student success. There are 8 functional units within the Division of Student Affairs: Center for Student Life, Career Readiness Center, Center for Academic Performance, Office of Care and Civility, Testing and Evaluation Services, International Services, Office of Disability Access, and Student Assistance Resource Center.
Position Overview
HSC alumni employees assigned to this classification work under general supervision. Jobs assigned to this level usually require some previous experience, education, or specialized skill. Center for Academic Performance Tutors are available for one-on-one, small group, and large group tutoring. Tutoring services offered both in-person and virtually.
Minimum Qualifications
- Alumni of UNTHSC
- Graduated with a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA from UNTHSC
- Ability to cover high yield information with students using different learning and facilitation techniques

Job Duties:
- One-on-one tutoring - in person and/or virtual - (Essential)

Up to 19 hours per week, flexible schedule, no minimum weekly hours required.
