Position Overview
The HRIS team of the Human Resources Department within the University of North Texas System Administration is seeking a detail-oriented HRIS Application Support Assistant. This position supports the team by handling administrative tasks, managing ServiceNow tickets, maintaining spreadsheets, and creating forms and presentations. The role also involves evaluating and improving electronic processes, preparing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and providing timely, professional communication through the HRIS Outlook inbox.
Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a High school diploma or GED; and a minimum of three years of general office, clerical, or human resource experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated verbal and oral communication skills.
Considerable knowledge of modern office equipment, information and filing systems and procedures.
Basic computer knowledge/technical skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage difficult customer situations.
Demonstrated knowledge of telephone etiquette.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with the public, and to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to maintain accurate detailed records.
Knowledge of safety and security precautions appropriate to work performed.
Preferred Qualifications
Effective communication skills, good computer knowledge, and technical skills

Job Duties:
