Department Summary
Research and graduate education in the College of Pharmacy has been growing as evidenced by increased grant and contract funding as well as new certificate and graduate education programs. Administrative resources to support these areas are needed in the Pharmacy Research & Graduate Education Services.
Position Overview
Research and graduate education in the College of Pharmacy has been growing as evidenced by increased grant and contract funding and new certificate and graduate education programs. This administrative resource will support the areas of Pharmacy Research and Graduate Education Services. At the direction of the program administrator, manages operations of research and graduate education program including but not limited to communications, compliance, data tracking and reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field and four (4) years of experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations relating to area of assignment.

Job Duties
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the research and graduate education program.
- Process procurement requests and ePAR requests related to research and graduate education program to ensure all personnel time is correctly billed to grants, contracts, etc.
- Assist in the collection and evaluation of program data to ensure compliance and complete monthly, quarterly, annual and other reports related to the program.
- Support program development, student service delivery, outcome evaluation and instructor/student recruitment, evaluation and retention.
- Coordinate the processing of contracts and other program related materials and maintain filing system for programmatic documentation.
- Coordinate activities and provide support relating to the program and participate in meetings relating to grant/program activities.
