The Business Intelligence Analyst in the Office of University Assessment and Accreditation (UAA) works collaboratively with the campus community with two integrated functions: 1) enterprise dashboard development and data modeling, including the design, construction, and maintenance of reporting solutions, in collaboration with UAA team members, data owners, ITS Data Analytics, data governance stakeholders, and other internal stakeholders. 2) applied artificial intelligence for institutional analytics, including natural language processing of qualitative student and stakeholder feedback, automation of AI-assisted reporting workflows, and evaluation of emerging AI tools for extending the university's data and analytical capacity. This position is responsible for facilitating data accessibility, analyzing institutional cross-functional data and external benchmark and market data, and producing reports and visualizations to support compliance reporting, evidentiary data for assessment and accreditation purposes, strategic initiatives, ad hoc reports, and operational efficiencies. The BI Analyst develops reports and dashboards according to defined business specifications for publication to internal and public audiences, as appropriate. This position analyzes institutional data for patterns in the flow of students through the academic process and programs, as well as the resources that support student success. To maintain data integrity, accuracy, reproducibility, and usability, the BI Analyst documents data definitions, workflow processes, and standard operating procedures and utilizes various quality control methods spanning both traditional data pipelines and AI-generated outputs.

The Assistant Director serves as the operational lead for the Office of Disability Access Testing Center and is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of testing accommodations, exam security practices, operational workflows, assessment activities, and accessibility-related systems in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and institutional policies. The Assistant Director supervises the Testing Associate and part-time testing staff and provides oversight of disability-related testing operations, assessment and reporting efforts, accessibility systems, and continuous process improvement initiatives. This position maintains a caseload of students receiving disability accommodations and assists with departmental planning, compliance efforts, and strategic initiatives. This position acts on behalf of the Director when designated.

This position will report directly to the Director of the NTR IRB and will also work closely with the ORC. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following: 1) Assist with development and implementation of human research protection for all NTR IRB partners; 2) Perform comprehensive administrative and regulatory reviews of designated IRB submissions (which include biomedical, clinical trial, and social/behavioral science studies) by ensuring applications/submissions meet all federal agency regulatory requirements for human subject research; 3) Assist with ongoing education and training for all affiliated researchers to ensure appropriate compliance with federal, state and university/institutional policies and regulations associated with human subject research; 4) Prepare documents for review by the IRB reviewers/committee; 5) Assist with oversight, attendance and coordination of IRB committee meetings and communicate outcomes to investigators, relevant institutional officials, and federal agencies (when needed); 6) Assist with development and roll out of inhouse compliance training programs, workshops, seminars, guidance documents and other outreach and educational tools and training related to IRB and human subject research; 7) Assist in the daily activities, accreditation efforts, special projects and operation of the NTR IRB.
